The Next Chapter In Our Legacy
At Chêne Gear, we build products to last. And when they’ve done their time in the field, we believe they still have a story left to tell.
Ketty’s Shop is our new recycled product initiative, a place where well-worn gear finds new life and new purpose. It’s named after Ketty, one of the original Chêne family employees, who believes in hard work, patching things up, and never wasting what still had value.
Here, you’ll find restored and repurposed Chêne gear, tested in the field and ready for more. Keeping true to our roots, this expedition begins with the wader, and will grow to include more products as the seasons pass. Each piece carries its own scars, stories, and soul. It’s our way of honoring the woods, the water, and the wear - keeping quality in circulation, not in a landfill.
Same grit. New hands. Ketty’s Shop is now open.

Recycling with Purpose
We live in a throw-away culture: one where single-use products and forgotten tools are left to waste away, contributing to a growing environmental crisis. But we believe there's a better way. A more intentional way. One rooted in respect - for the land, for the craft, and for the future.
Ketty's Shop takes products that would otherwise be discarded and gives them new life. Through recycling, we transform these once-forgotten materials into purposeful, durable goods with stories etched in every stitch.
This isn’t just about sustainability - it’s about stewardship. It’s about honoring the origins of the gear and the heritage of the hunt while reducing our footprint on the planet. Every piece we reclaim and reimagine is one less item in a landfill, and one more step toward a more circular, conscious way of living.
Because when we treat what we have with value, we create less waste and more meaning.
And that makes a lasting impact far beyond the field.
